Long long time, lets start again

Oh man! Its been a long time since I've visited my own blog. I even forgot that I had one. Anyway I learned a couple of things in between. Like one of my favorite; Photoshop. I've done a small project  (a  few banners and some brochures) and it was tough at first as I had to learn almost all of it. Because of my excitement over these kind of things my mouth blurted out the words, "yea i can totally do that, its very easy", yea and that was it, trapped not knowing how big it would turn out to be. Yes, it was, but at least I learned how to really manage time and meet deadlines, So all in all fair, like what the quote that's always in my mind now a days "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade" I'm not really sure if it even make sense in this context. Or does it?

OK, so this is just another post to keep this blog going. I'll probably post something tomorrow, have a lot in my archive-my brain :D

my mash™

I love my potato mash with my steak. I also like mushroom sauce, but we'll talk about that later. I've made my mash for a couple of weeks now and I think I have got it to perfection (at least for my taste). Here's what you'll need;

2 Potatoes
2 tbsp Thickened cream
1 tsp Butter
Salt and pepper to taste

my method;

Boil an appropriate amount of water. Cut potatoes into 2cm width cubes ( the smaller the cube the faster it gets done, so if you are hungry go crazy!) Put the diced potatoes in. Put a pinch of salt and wait 13-15 mins or until its done. Then put the potatoes into a medium sized bowl, of course after draining the water. Grab a folk and release all your stress and anger on to the potatoes. Put the teaspoon of butter in and mix a little. Then add the thickened cream and mix it until it gets kinda creamy. DO NOT mix it too much or till it gets cold. *blech*. lastly, add pepper and salt. Done!

below here is a picture how I imagine it while I am eating.

better than VLC

when it come to video files the easiest way to go is VLC media player. it was known for its capability of opening almost any kind of video file. but, when it comes to messing with the settings it is just not the thing for me. everytime you change a setting in vlc, you have to restart it to see the effect. So one day i thought i would go out  (on the internet) and look for an alternative. found GOM player, didnt like it. KM player; didnt like it. then i found PotPlayer, a player made by the same guy who developed the KM player, but he said its better. So there it was, Potplayer. It wasn't heavy on system resources and I was able to see what it did when I messed with the settings. I liked it.

My best free firewall

Every pc on the internet needs a firewall to protect from intruders or just to keep your pc for the longest you can without formatting and reinstalling everything because of having the idea that someone is spying on you or messing with your files. Yea, i know antivirus too. but the hole that opens to those intruders can be blocked by your firewall. So here it is, I've  tried Private firewall and ZoneAlarm and they are close substitutes but for me Comodo beats them.

My first post

Just wondering what to post. Spent almost half an hour creating the blog. My brain is useless at the moment.

I cant remember things, thoughts, stuff blah blah..when i want them the most. Too much stuff happens in life every single day and sometimes I come through very important findings/stuff that just slip out my mind once I use them. I'm a computer enthusiast and always and still think I am not using my brain to its full extent. Nobody does.
Anyway, hopefully I'm gonna blog those stuff from now on.
